Stuff the Cruiser event being held next week to help those in need

Date:

The Williamsburg Save-a-Lot store is partnering with the Williamsburg Police Department to help those in need this holiday season.

The store recently announced the partnership via their Facebook page, in which they will be holding a Stuff the Cruiser event on Monday, Dec. 19.

Teddy Anders, general manager of the Williamsburg Save-a-Lot, said that there will be premade holiday donation bags available in the store for purchase that includes a variety of food items to make it quick and easy for shoppers to donate.

“We’re always about trying to help people out in the community,” said Anders.

The premade donation bags will cost $4.99. Anyone who wishes to donate additional food items is also encouraged to do so.

“Make sure to make plans to come out on the 19th and help us fill the cruiser so we can help local families in need,” the store’s Facebook post stated.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 7 p.m.

All donations will be given to the Williamsburg Independent School and Emergency Christian Ministries.
