The Whitley County Colonels finally got their first win of the season Friday night in Clay County, defeating the Tigers by a final score of 49-33. Whitley will be back at home next week for their homecoming matchup against the Knox Central Panthers, who fell to Bell County tonight 15-6.

The Corbin Redhounds had their way with the South Laurel Cardinals on their Hall of Fame night, winning 63-0. The victory is their fourth in a row, and puts them at 4-1 on the season.

The Williamsburg Yellow Jackets faced their toughest challenge yet this season when they traveled to face off with Newport in northern Kentucky. They were able to come away with a 31-22 win, however, to remain undefeated at 5-0.

And finally, the Lynn Camp Wildcats traveled to Pineville where they were defeated by the Mountain Lions 57-6.
