Andrew Cox, age 75, of Williamsburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at his home.
Andrew was born on September 22, 1950, in McCreary County, Kentucky, to the late Elmer Cox and Ellen Martin Cox. Andrew worked as a logger.
Andrew is survived by one daughter, Andrea “Susie” Canada and husband Calvin; one son, James Greg Cox and wife Mary all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Kenny Canada and wife Lindsey of Corbin, Kentucky, Tiffany Barnes and husband Dean, Adriana Smith and husband Billy, Dustin Feltner, C. Feltner and fiancé Ashley, and Simon Cox all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; seven great-grandchildren, Jerry Barnes, Izabella Barnes both of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Easton Canada of Corbin, Kentucky, Victor Smith, Axton Smith, Kennidee Smith all of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Noelle Cox of Buford, Georgia; five sisters, Judy Bryant and husband Darrell of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Christeen Scalf and husband Randy of London, Kentucky, Dora Bryant of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Zora Bryant and husband Marcus of McCreary County, Kentucky, and Louise Cox of Rome, Georgia; one brother, Charles “Shorty” Cox of Williamsburg, Kentucky; special friend, Will Smith; and a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Corllis Sue Cox; one great-granddaughter, Paisley Canada; two sisters, Nora Cox and Rachel Cox; and six brothers, Bobby “Bob” Cox, Ray Cox, Nat Cox, Lee “ Doe” Cox, Roger Cox, and Roy “Duke” Cox.
Funeral services was Friday, February 6, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Meadors officiating. Burial followed in the Piney Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons.
