In 2020, Baptist Health established the Honor a Caregiver program as a heartfelt way to recognize the exceptional care provided by its dedicated staff. This program allows patients to express their gratitude by honoring caregivers through philanthropic contributions. It’s more than a thank you; it’s a meaningful tribute to those who make a difference in our community’s health.
Sheri Ricci recently took the opportunity to honor three caregivers who touched her life deeply: Robin Arcure, Andrew Pennington and Heather Burchette.
Reflecting on their impact, Sheri expressed her heartfelt appreciation, saying, “Robin, your compassion for your patients is immeasurable. Your kindness has touched my heart, showing genuine care beyond expectations.”
To Heather, she added, “Your dedication to my well-being has inspired me to strive for personal growth and success.” Addressing Andrew, Sheri noted, “Your unwavering support and empathy have taught me the true meaning of courage and gratitude.”
In addition to her tribute, Sheri made a lasting contribution by including a planned gift in her estate to support Behavioral Health patients in Corbin. This fund aims to increase access to these services and enhance treatment options made available to patients.
If you have a caregiver you would like to honor and share your story, Baptist Health Corbin invites you to contact the Baptist Health Foundation to learn more about how you can make a meaningful impact through the Honor a Caregiver program.
