Lisa Faye Lovitt, 56, of North 6th Street, Williamsburg, departed this life on Monday, May 8, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born on January 16, 1961 in Jellico, TN to the late Eugene Griffith and Mae Etta Lay. She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl “Eddie” Griffith. Roy Howard Mooneyham, Jr., 90, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Baptist Health Corbin. Born in Corbin, he was the son of the late Roy H. Mooneyham and Ollie Payne Mooneyham. He was also preceded in death by his wife Virginia “Virgie” Mooneyham on October 7, 2014; and his siblings Lena Lakes, Roena Cox, Nava Brooks, Finley Mooneyham, Denver Mooneyham, Susie Baird, Bonnie Jones, and Darrell Mooneyham. William Herren, Jr.

William Herren, Jr., 86, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Baptist Health in Lexington. Born in Knox County, he was the son of the late William Herren, Sr., and Melissa Mullins Herren. He was preceded in death by his brother Walter Herren and sister Anna Mae Langenbach. He served over 20 years with the U.S. Army, both active and in the reserves, including during the Korean War. Janice Vanover, 65, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Baptist Health in Corbin. Janice is survived by her husband Harold Vanover. Funeral service was held Thursday, May 4, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial was in the Thomas Cemetery in Knox County. Richard Luther Dewees, 85 of Corbin, went to be with his Lord on Sunday May 7, 2017. Visitation will be on Wednesday at 1 p.m. for the family and from 2-4 p.m. for the public.  Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday May 10, at Faith Baptist Church in Corbin with Rev.
