Clay edges Whitley Co.

The Whitley County Lady Colonels blew a 13-point lead in a 57-53 loss to the Clay County Lady Tigers at Lawson Gym Thursday night. Brandi Smith and Taylor Dingess led Whitley County with 15 points each. North Laurel transfer Cheyenne Madden and Alicia Mitchell led the Lady Tigers with 20 and 19 points respectively. The Corbin Redhounds jumped out to a 19-8 lead and never looked back in beating the Lynn Camp Wildcats, 64-48 last night at LCHS. Senior Travis Smith led the Redhounds with 26 points. Robbie Igo added 12 points in the victory.
