Daisy Mae (Ausmus) Pierce

Daisy Mae (Ausmus) Pierce, age 83, of Clairfield, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Claiborne Medical Center. She was born July 19, 1939, in Valley Creek, Tennessee.
Daisy is preceded in death by son, James Pierce; daughter, Rita Branam; grandson, Lonnie Watson; parents, Harley and Evie (Hatfield) Ausmus; sisters, Charlotte Hicks, and Rosetta Byrd and brother, Edd Hatfield.
She is survived by husband, Jack Pierce; sons, Lonnie Pierce and June, Arlie Ray Pierce, Victor Pierce and Nadine; 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; sister, Geneva Hamblin; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm until the funeral hour at 8 pm on Monday, August 22, at the New Rock Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Harold “Pete” Norman and Rev. Trevor Hunter officiating.
Burial will be Tuesday, August 23, in the Jimmy Bowman Cemetery.
