Debra Kaye Rhodes Wilson, 56, of Parrish, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Monday morning, August 7, 2017 at the Tidewell Hospice Center in Bradenton, FL after a long illness.

She was born on October 5, 1960 in Dayton, OH to the late James W. and Lena Jacqueline (Cox) Rhodes.  She was the granddaughter of the late Harrison and Bertie (Lambert) Rhodes and the late Elbert P. and Myrtle (Hayes) Cox.  She was a graduate of Miamisburg High School in Miamisburg, OH.

In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her uncles, Keith Lewallen and James Cox; aunts, Beddie (Rhodes) Diamond, Barbara (Cox) Meadors, Doris Cox, Marilyn Faye (Cox) Hackler; son-in-law, Heath Strahl; first cousins, Diane Meadors, Berry Meadors, Kelsie Meadors, Jr., and Rick Lay.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Mark Wilson of Parrish, FL; daughters, Shanna M. McClung, and husband, James, of Orlando, FL, Angeleah Strahl, and fiancé, Chris Walters, and Briana Wilson, all of Parrish, FL; grandchildren, Grayson, Paityn and Camden; sister, Karen A. (Rhodes) Okla, and husband, Michael, of Tinley Park, IL; brother, James Gregory Rhodes, and wife, Shelley, of Gainesville, FL; nephews and nieces, Nasir M. Okla, and wife, Marium, of New Lenox, IL, Michelle (Okla) Ross, and husband, Adam, of Portland, Oregon, Khaled J. Okla, and wife Brittney, of Crestwood, IL, Meggan (Rhodes) Jones and husband, Chris, Michael Rhodes, Geoffrey Rhodes and Lauren Rhodes all of Gainesville, FL; aunts, Katherine Lewallen of Florida and Wanda Louise (Cox) Lay, of Goshen, OH; father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Geneva Wilson, of Miamisburg, OH; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean Wilson and wife, Melissa, and Sandy Sanders and husband, Ron, and all of Miamisburg, OH; and a host of other family members, neighbors and friends to mourn her passing.

The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. on Friday, August 11, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Jellico with the Rev. Billy Carpenter and the Rev. Lester Cox officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oaklawn addition of Pleasant View Cemetery in Whitley County, Kentucky.

James McClung, Nasir Okla, Khaled Okla, Michael Rhodes, Geoffrey Rhodes, Zach Sanders, Chris Walters, Colby Wilson and Darrell Wilson will serve as pallbearers.

The Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico is in charge of all arrangements.
