Gray woman airlifted from crash scene in Keavy

 A Gray woman was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center Wednesday afternoon following a two-vehicle wreck in Keavy.

According to Sheriff John Root the wreck occurred on Ky. 363 about 4:20 p.m.

Deputies reported that a tan Hyundai Tucson, driven by 65-year-old Charles Spiedel of Williamsburg collided with the Chevrolet pickup truck driven by 57-year-old Cathy Shechells of London.

Deputy Gilbert Acciardo, the department’s public affairs officer, said 43-year-old Michell Mullins, who was a passenger in the Hyundai, was the only one who sustained any injuries.

Laurel County Volunteer Fire Department, Keavy Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County also responded to the scene.
