Historical marker dedication planned for Williamsburg military hero

One of Williamsburg’s own, who posthumously received high honors for his heroic efforts during the Vietnam War, is getting some long-deserved recognition from his hometown later this month.

A Kentucky Historical Society Marker dedication is being held Saturday, Aug. 27, outside the Whitley County Courthouse to honor Joe Calvin Paul, United States Marine Corps.
