Jewell Begley Powell, age 75, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at her home. She was born August 29, 1946 in Whitley County, Kentucky.
Jewell is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Powell; parents, Huie and Christine McCreary Begley; brothers,Dewayne Begley, Jack Begley, and James Begley.
She is survived by son, Larry James Powell; grandchildren, Cody, Gary, Michael, Kaleb, Makayla and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Averee, Hayle and Lena; sisters, Barbara Faulkner and Betty Elliott; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
