John Jones

John Jones, age 54, of Lexington, KY, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at his home.
He was born November 9, 1969 in Cincinnati, OH to the late R. C. and Yvonne Cox Jones. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his nephew, Brandon Jones.
John served as a medic in the U.S. Army. During his time in the U.S. Army, he served two tours in Iraq.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Faye Jones of Williamsburg, KY; daughter, Carolyn Leannza Elizabeth Jones of Lexington, KY; son, John Austin Jones of Williamsburg, KY; grandchild, Lyla Elizabeth Jane Bowman of Lexington, KY; two sisters, Debbie Simpson of Emlyn, KY, and Hileanna Jones of Lily, KY; one brother, Tony Jones (Pam) of Corbin, KY; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Friday, June 28, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hoyt Caddell, Jr. and Rev. Chuck Evans officiating.
Interment was in Highland Cemetery.
