Joy Lawson

Joy Lawson, age 67, of Corbin, KY, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born February 5, 1955 in Beckley, WV to the late Walter B. (Charles) Estes and Ruby C. Leach Estes.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Lawson of Corbin, KY; daughter, Serena Pirani (Adam) of Corbin, KY; son, Michael Paul Lawson (Renee) of Corbin, KY; six grandchildren, Ryan Lawson (Kelsey), Chase Lawson, Elijah Pirani, Brittany Lawson, Madelyn Lawson, and Alibia Pirani; her mother, Ruby C. Estes of Williamsburg, KY; one brother, Walter Eddie Estes of Williamsburg, KY; several nieces, and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, November 12, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Miller, Rev. Morris Lovitt, and Rev. Jerome Cox officiating.
Interment was in Corinth Cemetery.
