Lakyn Moyers crowned Miss Elementary America First Grade 2025

Date:

At just six years old, Corbin’s own Lakyn Reign Moyers, a student at Corbin Primary School, has been crowned Miss Elementary America First Grade 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas, held from June 26 to July 3. She was awarded a $5,000 scholarship, a family cruise, and several other prizes.

After finishing in sixth place the previous year, Moyers returned with determination and hard work to officially take the crown. She dedicated countless hours of daily practice and prepared for interviews multiple days a week. Moyers mentioned that practicing for interviews was her favorite part, saying, “I get to talk to the judges and show them my bubbly personality.”

During the competition, Moyers competed in three phases: an interview (40%), a fashion runway (20%), and an evening gown (40%). Moyers’ hard work paid off, as she was awarded Best Interview, Best Fun Fashion, and Best Evening Gown, in addition to taking the overall title.

Along with being crowned Miss Elementary America First Grade, Moyers also represents the national anti-bullying platform B.R.A.V.E., standing for Building Respect And Values for Everyone. She plans to travel to various states to spread the message of kindness to others.

In addition to her title, Lakyn received a $5,000 scholarship, a family cruise, and several other prizes. She and her newly crowned sister queens have even planned a celebratory trip to Disney this November.

Moyers remains proud of her crowning moment, naming it “the best day ever.”
