Margie (Marlow) Woods, age 88, of Tackett Creek (Duff), Tennessee passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Beech Tree Manor. She was born July 16, 1938, in Tackett Creek, Tennessee.
Margie is preceded in death by husband, Clarence Woods; grandson, Jason Ball; father, Monroe Marlow; mother, Martha (Eastridge) Marlow; and sister, Beulah Powers.
She is survived by sons, Darrell Woods and wife Frances, Lonnie Ray Woods and wife Glenna, Brian Keith Woods and wife Donna; daughter, Sharon King and husband Bart; grandchildren, Joe Woods, Christina Woods, Ronnie Woods, Bryan Ball, Brandon and Stephanie King, Crystal and John Ell, Jennifer Moses, Dusty Moses, Cheryl Moses, Amber and Chris Kitzman, Ashley and Jerry Richardson, Madison Ball; great-grandchildren, Maddox Johnson, Sarah and Matthew Powers, Ethan Woods, Emma Woods, Emily Woods, Makylin King, Candace Sutton, Braylen Moses, Erin Moses, Waylon Richardson, Ellimae Richardson, Liam Ell, Lily Ell, Vera Ell, Chance Woods, Baylie Woods, Adalynn Woods, Cade Ball, Justin Ball; great-great-grandchildren, Isabel Woods, Soraya Woods, Oaklee Powers, Addison Powers, Winston Powers, Evelynn King, Sophia Ratliff; like sisters to her, Linda Powers, Geneva Siler, Lois Lemarr, and Edna Eastridge; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, September 5, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Woods officiating.
Burial followed Sunday, September 6, in the Oddfellow Cemetery.
