Over 17,000 nonperishable food items collected by Forcht Bank to be donated to local food pantries

Forcht Bank’s annual charitable food drive “Stick a Forcht in Hunger” will donate thousands of nonperishable food items collected by employees, local businesses, and community members to food pantries in December.

Forcht Bank collected 17,193 food items during our campaign, which ran from Nov. 11 through Dec. 14 across all our 26 banking center locations. Donations will go back into the same city in which they were collected.

Below is a list of distribution centers Forcht Bank and our customers were able to assist this year:

  • Barbourville: KCEOC Women’s Shelter
  • Burlington and Covington: GO Pantry
  • Campbellsville: Green River Ministries
  • Cincinnati: SEM Food Pantry
  • Corbin: Grace on the Hill Food Pantry
  • Crittenden, Dry Ridge, and Williamstown: Spears Foundation Free Kitchen
  • Greensburg: Green County Ministerial Association
  • Lexington: God’s Pantry
  • London: Redemption Church
  • Louisville: Southwest Area Ministries & Jeffersontown Area Ministry
  • Richmond: God’s Pantry
  • Somerset: God’s Pantry
  • Williamsburg: Mt. Pigsah Church Food Pantry
