Phyllis A. Lay

Phyllis A. Lay, age 82, of Corbin, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 29, 1943 to the late William H. and Geraldine Gregory McKeehan.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Lay.
She is survived by two children, Derrick Lay of Corbin, KY, Paige Ashcraft (Matt) of Corbin, KY; granddaughter, Alex Ashcraft of Corbin, KY; one brother, Larry McKeehan (Lou) of Louisville, KY; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 14, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.
Interment will be in the Bryant Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM until the funeral hour Saturday, February 14, at the funeral home.
