Violet Taylor, age 80, of LaFollette, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at her home.
She was born March 21, 1942 in Clairfield, Tennessee.
She was a member of High Street Baptist Church. She was a loving wife for 64 years and a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Violet is preceded in death by parents, Jake and Maude Petree Lawson; brothers, Freddy, Billy and Ernest Lawson; sisters, Mary Lou Partenach and Pansy Norman.
She is survived by husband, James Taylor; son, Jimmy Taylor and wife Betty; daughter, Ann Young and husband Earl; grandchildren, Kenvin Young and Violet Ann Young; great-grandchild, Jaxson Curtis Young; brothers, Larry Lawson and Kay, Edgar Lawson and Bai and Ned Lawson and Sucha; sisters, Margaret Randolph, Lorene King and Phil, Katherine Lawson, and Jessie Doan and Don; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
The funeral services was Friday, May 6, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Allen officiating.
Burial was Saturday, May 7, in the Victory Cemetery, in Lafollette, Tennessee.
Harp Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
