Whitley County Clerk’s Office in Corbin remaining open

While Friday will be the last day that the Whitley Circuit Court Clerk’s offices in Corbin and Williamsburg will be able to issue driver’s licenses and the Corbin office is closing at month’s end, the Whitley County Clerk’s Office in Corbin will remain open.

The Whitley Circuit Court Clerk’s Office in Corbin will be closing later this month with all of the operations merging into the Williamsburg location, which is in the Whitley County Judicial Center.

The circuit court clerk’s office is where you have go to pay fines, probate a will, get an Emergency Protective Order (E.P.O.), etc.

Whitley County Clerk Carolyn Willis noted that her Corbin office is different than the circuit court clerk’s office, and will remain open for business after Friday.

The Whitley County Clerk’s Office is where you go to pay car taxes, file a deed, get a marriage license and so forth.
