Residents were shaken but uninjured Friday afternoon when an SUV ran into an apartment building on Gordon Street in Corbin.
Corbin Police Officer Estes Rhodes said the elderly female driver of the Ford Explorer was backing out of the parking lot at Hillside Apartments just before 5 p.m. when she suffered an incident due to her diabetes.
The vehicle ran over a road sign on Gordon Street before striking the side of the building near a breezeway.
Rhodes said neither the driver, nor any residents were injured in the crash.
The SUV was pulled from the building and towed from the scene.
