Eddie Dewayne Martin, 55, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Baptist Health Corbin.
Eddie is survived by his wife Sherley Martin.

Christine Mary (Brown) Rains, 75, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Hillsprings Nursing Home in Springboro, OH.
She was the daughter of the late Melton and Rose (Meadors) Brown.

Jean was born in Williamsburg, to M. L. and Stella Angel.
She taught school in Williamsburg, Lexington, and Lawton, OK before retiring from the Elizabethtown Independent School System.
She was a graduate of Cumberland College and Eastern Kentucky University along with doctorate work at the University of Kentucky.
She was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church where she shared her love of faith and music in the choir and childrens ministries.
She was a member of the Garden Club and Women’s Club of Elizabethtown.

Doyle Ray Marsee, 75, of Jellico, TN went to be with The Lord on Friday June 15, 2018 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Nell Mayes Marsee and Willous Marsee and his beloved son, Marty Marsee.
Ray was a member of Masonic Lodge #488 F&AM of Powell Valley Tennessee for over 50 years. Ray served as deacon at the Crouches Creek Baptist Church in Jellico, TN. He will be truly missed in his community.

Linda Ann Powell, 77, of South Highway 1064, Woodbine, departed this life on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Baptist Health in Corbin.
She was born on June 11, 1941 in Whitley County, to the late Carmack Kersey and Lida (Manning) Kersey.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dan Kersey and J.R. Kersey and a sister, Opal Carpenter.

Bessie Harp Steele Williams, 106, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Christian Health Care in Corbin.
Born in Whitley County, she was the daughter of the late Joshua Harp and Phoebe Bennett Harp, and was the youngest of 13 children.
She was also preceded in death by her son Ozene Steele and grandson Mark Edward Steele.
Bessie had worked as a sales clerk at the Quality Shop and Mitchell’s Hardware.
She is survived by her son Edward Steele and wife Wanda, and by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at the Corinth Cemetery with Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
