Jerry Boggs, 62, of Corbin passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, at Baptist Health Lexington. Born August 23, 1954, he was the son of the late Robert and Mae Boggs. He was a member of New Hope Ministries Church of God.  A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he especially enjoyed spending quality time with his grandbabies.  A man with a true servant’s heart, he found joy in helping others.  He also enjoyed fishing and showing his restored 1968 Mustang at car shows. Charles Kevin Shell, 47, of Gray, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017, at UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Corbin, he was the son of the late Lonnie Charles Shell and Diana Jo Campbell Shell. He was a member of Little Indian Creek Baptist Church, and loved fishing, hunting and playing cards. William Herren, Jr., 86, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Baptist Health in Lexington. Born in Knox County, he was the son of the late William Herren, Sr., and Melissa Mullins Herren. He was preceded in death by his brother Walter Herren and sister Anna Mae Langenbach. He served over 20 years with the U.S. Army, both active and in the reserves, including during the Korean War.
