Ruth Arlene Bryant, 89, of Falin Lane, Williamsburg, departed this life on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Baptist Health in Corbin. She was born on February 8, 1928 in Whitley County, to the late Clint Smith and Elva Harris Smith. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Atrel Cole and a brother, Clinton Smith and his wife Jan. Ruth attended Shiner Church of Christ. Dolores Brown Mackey, 77, of Corbin, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 13, 2017. She was born on February 14, 1939, in Middlesboro, to the late Cecil Brown and Ethel Bowlin Brown. She was a graduate of Union College. In the early years, she taught school in the Wells Community in rural Knox County in a one-room building. She was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Corbin and was the gold standard of Proverbs 31:10-31 in caring for her family. Paul Richard Hill, 71, of Wofford Church Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his home. He was born on October 12, 1945 in Andersonville, TN to Lawrence Hill and Lucy (Clowers) Hill. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jasmine Williamson. Maximus Alexzander Earls, the 5 months old son of Daryl Earls and Ashley Love of Copley Rd. Lily, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday at his residence. Ronnie Lee Russell, 61, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at University Hospital, Inc., in Cincinnati, OH. He was the beloved son of Talmadge and Opal Yates Russell. In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by many of his Kentucky family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Russell; and his grandparents, Charlie and Deema Russell and Albert and Lola Yates.
