Sandra Ann Trosper, of Corbin, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 23, 2017. She was a longtime active member of Seventeenth Street Christian Church and through the years served as a Sunday School teacher and member of the Bereavement Team. Ann was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Lessie Marino; her brothers, Sam Marino and Joe Marino; and sister, Lou Lee. Darrell Edmond Shelton, 65 of Williamsburg, passed away Friday April 21, 2017 at Jellico Community Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Darrell was a very outgoing person who enjoyed life and he was always willing to help others. He was a highly skilled carpenter and enjoyed doing building and remodeling projects for many local homeowners and businesses. Sandra Kay Close, 68, of Brush Arbor Road, Williamsburg passed away on Sunday, April 16 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was the wife of the late Russell Close. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 at the Croley Funeral Home. Thelma Marie Gambrel Cordell, 89, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
