Since Little League Eric Salmons, Josh Smith, Corey Sewell, Brent Spray and Logan Matlock have been the players Corbin fans looked to when they talked about big things such as a regional championship andan appearance in the state tournament.
Well, I am glad to finally see some sunny weather, but it looks like all that can change over the next few days with the chance of rain heading our way.

Corbin Intermediate student Jeremy Elliott continues to put his mark on the national scene when it comes to archery. Elliott, a fifth grader at Corbin Intermediate qualified for the state archery meet with a first place in the regional tournament at the University of the Cumberlands last month.
The Corbin Lady Redhounds pulled off the upset Tuesday night and beat the South Laurel Lady Cardinals, 4-3 in the championship game of the 50th District Tournament at Corbin High School.
