Corbin native killed in Bowling Green shooting early Sunday

An early morning shooting Sunday in Bowling Green has claimed the life of a Corbin native.

Kenneth “Alex” Davis, 21, graduated Corbin High School in 2014, and was a student at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.

According to published reports, Davis was shot by another WKU student, Peter Gall, who has been charged with second-degree manslaughter.

The shooting was reported shortly after midnight on September 3.

Gall’s attorney has described the shooting as accidental.

Gall is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
