Lena Petrey, age 84, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Signature Healthcare of McCreary in McCreary County, KY.
She was born May 1, 1941 in Emlyn, KY to the late John Earl and Hannah Owens Adams. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Vince Petrey; granddaughter, Elicia Gilreath; and one sister, Margie Chambers.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Petrey of Williamsburg, KY; son, Greg Petrey of Corbin, KY; seven grandchildren, Derek Petrey, Danielle Strunk (Rick), Brad Petrey (Heidi), Andrew Petrey (Jessica), Leann Canada, Elizabeth Petrey, and Alyssa Parrot; 10 great-grandchildren, Mason Strunk, Logan Petrey, Maci Strunk, Harlan, Maylee, Ariana, Adalee, Raedon, Trenton, Hunter; one sister, Donna Douglas of Simpsonville, SC; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 2, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Mullins officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery Davis Addition.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM until the funeral hour Wednesday, July 2, at the funeral home.
