Tues. Night Highlights: Whitley rolls against Williamsburg, Corbin boys get road win at SL

Date:

Tuesday night featured four 50th District contests as the Williamsburg Lady Jackets and Yellow Jackets hosted their crosstown rivals from Whitley County and the Corbin Redhounds and Lady Hounds made the short trip north to play at South Laurel.

It was a tough night for Jacket fans. First, the Williamsburg girls fell to 2-6 on the season, 0-1 in district play, after an 84-20 loss to the Lady Colonels. With the win, Whitley improves to 7-7, 1-0.

Both teams will face 50th District competition again this Friday evening, as Williamsburg will travel to face Corbin and Whitley County will play host to South Laurel.
