Rodney Edward Johnson departed this life and made his way to his heavenly home in the early morning hours of Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026.
Rodney died at his home in Straw Plains, Tennessee surrounded by family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Geraldine (Burkhart) Johnson, and his father, William Robert Johnson.

Opal grew up in Evarts, KY in Harlan County. She had a wonderful group of friends from Evarts High School, Class of 1960, with whom she still kept in touch.
