Larry Wright Artis, age 73, of LaFollette and formerly of Newcomb, Tennessee passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born June 25, 1952, in Jellico, Tennessee. Larry is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Artis; mother, Glenora (Wright) Artis; and sister, Elaine Meadors. He is survived by his sister, Mary Katherine Artis; brother, James Elmer “Easy” Artis and Ruby; brother-in-law, James Meadors; and a host of friends to mourn his passing. Trenity Ray Oakes, age 49, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 at home. He was born September 12, 1976, in Corbin, Kentucky.
