Laura Jean (Davis) Singley, age 94, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at home. She was born February 10, 1932, in a coal mining camp in Four Mile, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Jellico High School class of 1950 and a graduate of Cumberland College class of 1972. Jean was a Kindergarten Teacher at Jellico Elementary School for 27 years, and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Danny L. Helton, age 65, died unexpectedly of natural causes Sunday, February 8, 2026, at his home. He was born August 28, 1960, in Benham, Kentucky to Curtis and Fern (Creech) Helton. They preceded him in death along with his wife of almost 32 years, Robin (Lamb) whom he married November 15, 1987. She died in October of 2019.
