Andrew was born on September 22, 1950, in McCreary County, Kentucky, to the late Elmer Cox and Ellen Martin Cox. Andrew worked as a logger. Opal L. Jackson Trivette, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at her home in Corbin, KY. Opal grew up in Evarts, KY in Harlan County.
